Con una forte matrice indie-rock dai colori anglo-francesi, gli El-Ghor nascono a inizio 2004. Già nei primi 2 anni di carriera, collezionano oltre 60 live. Partecipano a festival come 'Avalon', 'Comunicativo', 'Six days Sonic Madness', 'S.I.R. Spazio Indipendente Romano'. A fine 2005, comincia la collaborazione con la Seahorse Recordings che dà vita, nel dicembre 2006, all'uscita dell'album d'esordio 'Dada Danzè' (Seahorse Recordings / Goodfellas / Fridge) che si avvale della produzione artistica di Paolo Messere, (Blessed Child Opera, Ulan Bator, Maisie). “Dada Danzè” dopo aver ricevuto ottimi riscontri dalla critica, viene nominato da “Il Mucchio” tra i migliori album d’esordio del 2006/07 e tra i migliori album del 2006 da diverse web-zine. Il video di 'Danzè', primo singolo estratto, è tra i 30 scelti per il 'Premio Videoclip Indipendenti' dell'edizione 2006; finalista di "O'curt 2007"; finalista ad "Obiettivo Corto" presentato da Rai Uno.

BIOGRAPHY

With a strong indie-rock sound and anglo-french influences ,El-ghor was born at the begin of 2004.Melanconic and strong melodies create a world full of expansions, alternating quiet and anger, post-rock and ballads, all leaked one in a strange noise (using Italian and also French language). During the first two years of their career they play more than 50times, dividing the stage with important band as Acid Mother Temple, Ulan Bator, Disco Drive, Giardini Di MIrò and also they’ve played in important festivals as 'Avalon', 'Comunicativo' e 'Six days Sonic Madness'. In the end of the year 2005 they started the collaboration with the Seahorse Recordings that produced their first record 'Dada Danzè' (Seahorse Recordings / Goodfellas),with the artistic production of Paolo Messere ( Blessed Child Opera, Ulan Bator, Maisie, Silken Barb). The video of their first single “Danzè” is between the 30 chosen ones for the “Prize For Indipendent Videoclip 2006”.
